Hello! I’m Marc González Rossell. Through illustration, visual design and art direction, I craft evocative narrative worlds for publishing and culture.
My work draws inspiration from everyday magic, adventure stories and the imaginary worlds that stay with us from childhood — places filled with mystery, curiosity and emotion. I’m interested in creating images that invite people to pause, wander, and imagine, exploring storytelling through the relationship among words, atmosphere, and visual language.
I studied Advertising Design at La Gaspar in Igualada (Barcelona), and later Illustration at Escola d’Art Serra i Abella in Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona). For more than fifteen years, I’ve worked across graphic design and freelance illustration, collaborating with publishing, cultural and digital projects while continuing to develop personal work and independent publications.
I am also the art director and editor of the collaborative illustrated short-story magazine Narranació.
When I’m not drawing, I’m probably wandering through bookshops and comic shelves, listening to music, watching films, walking in the woods with my family or playing guitar over tea and toasted bread with chocolate.
